Who's your idol?

November 2005.
A week of mixed emotions, from happiness to sorrow in seven days. Happiness because my first grandchild, Emily, was born and grief because my great idol through the 60's and 70's, George Best died. Two years later we spent the holiday on a ten day road trip around the UK. The goal was to visit the burial site in Belfast and Burren Way where George Best grew up.
In Bergen, Norway, we met a friend, Tor Elton Hansen, who signed the Manchester United kit we brought to put on the grave. We flew from Bergen to London, got a rental car and started the journey. Via the south coast to Stonehenge and Bath, to Fishguard, Wales. Ferry to Rosslare, Ireland and on to Dublin. Next we went to Belfast where we started looking for the cemetery, Belfast City Council, Roselawn Cemetery and crematorium. It was an emotional moment that I will never forget. Mission completed!  North of Belfast we took another ferry from Larne to Cairnryan in Scotland, via Glasgow and Stirling to Edinburgh. We delivered the rental car in Edinburg and flew home to Bergen.
